Awe-inspiring God
PSALM 100:1-5
1. Shout with joy to the Lord, all the earth!
2. Worship the Lord with gladness. Come before him, singing with joy.
3. Acknowledge that the Lord is God !
He made us, and we are his . We are his people, the sheep of his pasture.
4.Enter his gates with Thanksgiving; go into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and praise his name.
5. For the Lord is good. His unfailing love continues forever, and his faithfulness continues to each generation.
PSALM 101:1-8
1. I will sing of your love and justice, Lord. I will praise you with songs.
2. I will be careful to live a blameless life when will you come to help me? I will lead a life of integrity in my own home.
3. I will refuse to look at anything vile and vulgar. I hate all who deal crookedly; I will have nothing to do with them.
4. I will reject perverse ideas and stay away from every evil.
5. I will not tolerate people who slander their neighbors. I will not endure conceit and pride.
6. I will search for faithful people to be my companions. Only those who are above reproach will be allowed to serve me.
7. I will not allow deceivers to serve in my house , and liars will not stay in my presence.
8. My daily task will be to ferret out the wicked and free the city of the Lord from their grip.
PSALM 111:1-10
1. Praise the Lord!
I will thank the Lord with all my heart as I meet with his godly people .
2. How amazing are the deeds of the Lord! All who delight in him should ponder them.
3. Everything he does reveals his glory and majesty. His righteousness never fails.
4. He causes us to remember his wonderful works .
How gracious and merciful is our Lord!
5. He gives food to those who fear him; he always remembers his covenant.
6. He has shown his great power to his people by giving them the lands of other nations.
7. All he does is just and good, and all his commandments are trustworthy.
8. They are forever true , to be obeyed faithfully and with integrity.
9. He has paid a full ransom for his people.
He has guaranteed his covenant with them forever.
What a holy, awe-inspiring name he has!
10. Fear of the Lord is the foundation of true wisdom .
All who obey his commandments will grow in wisdom.
Praise him forever.
